Support for Vitamin D Research

The Center for D-Receptor Activation Research (CeDAR) will support approximately 5 to 10 grants, ranging from $100,000 to 200,000 each.

The maximum allowable overhead charged to the grant will be 15%, and the total amount (direct and indirect) cannot exceed $200,000. Grants will be for one year from the time of fund transfer, with the expectation that results of the funded study will be published in a leading journal within two years of fund transfer.

Grant deadlines will be December 1st and May 1st and all applicants will be notified of the status of their application by January 31st and June 30th, respectively. Established investigators previously working in other areas and now wishing to pursue clinical/translational research in the area of vitamin D are strongly encouraged to apply.
