Gay sex is *still* illegal in Massachusetts (penalty - 20 years in prison) and Michigan (penalty - 15 years in prison), while sodomy laws have been repealed in 26 states, such as Arizona and Iowa, or struck down by courts in 9 states, including Kentucky and Maryland. Consenting adults can still be convicted of a felony for having gay sex in 17 states. In 10 of those states, you can go to jail for performing sodomy with the opposite sex.*
